AI is an incredible tool and is becoming part of almost every area of our lives. Financial planning, however, is highly personal. It combines technical knowledge with judgement, context and an understanding of what matters to you.

I always encourage you to ask questions, challenge my advice and tell me if something doesn’t feel right for you. That dialogue is an important part of successful financial planning.

AI can be very useful for helping you think through questions and obtain a deeper understanding, but I’d much rather hear what genuinely concerns you in your own words than receive a long, generic list of AI-generated questions that may not reflect your circumstances or real fears.
