A message from Andy Hart, a few ‘rules of the road’

- I’m in the fortunate position where I have more than enough clients and income coming in, this means I’m now very selective with whom I work with. I take on maybe 15% of the clients that approach me.

- I do not provide references from existing clients, it’s likely I’ve come highly recommended by someone you trust or you’ve found me from my financial education content. In my early years I provided references, now I don’t. Trust your gut or don’t work with me. I’ve never let any of the families I serve down.

- Don’t ask about our ‘investment track record’, it shows you don’t really understand how investing works. I manage money for multiple families all with different mandates. You’ll get the returns of the capital markets, which over time have been fabulous. You can see our portfolios and the returns here

- Please don’t ask for a fee reduction, the fees are incredibly fair already.

Lifestyle Financial Planning from Maven Adviser

STAGE 1- Complete our initial discovery form

STAGE 2- INITIAL Phone Call

Once you complete our ‘Discovery Form’ we will review it and then contact you to book an initial phone call with Andy Hart. To book this call please use https://calendly.com/andrewhartuk/30

STAGE 3- our DISCOVERY MEETINg

This meeting will be held at one of our offices (or on the phone). We will discuss your requirements, aspirations and plans. We will also see if we are right for you and also if you are right for us. After this meeting we will then decide if we wish to establish an ongoing relationship.

Fee: There is no cost for this stage, it’s at our expense.


AFTER stage 3 We’ll move to the maven success program

ONGOING financial PLANNING & Investment counselling

This is when the fun starts. We will spend some time crafting your initial Financial Master Plan. This will be an important document and will be the roadmap which we'll follow and continually update. We will present to you your Financial Master Plan, we'll also present to you 'what if' scenarios and alternative financial strategies. 

This stage is by far the most important stage. Getting your financial house in order can take years (you don’t get fit going to the gym once). We will partner with you throughout your whole life, ensuring you achieve all of your financial and life goals, more importantly you don’t make any financial mistakes. Unlimited emails, phone calls, set annual planning meeting, ad hoc meetings if required, basically we’re on hand to ensure your financial success.

Fee: We have a simple fee for our ongoing service:

We charge 1% on the investments we advise on, if your investable assets are under £300,000 we charge £99 per month paid via direct debit. Once your assets breach £300,000 this direct debit will stop.

Assets over £2,000,000 - it’s one fee of 0.79% on the investments we advise on.

The 1% fee will be deducted from your investments via the investment platform, so it’s a seamless, no-hassle payment.

If you already have any money invested (pensions, ISA's etc) you'll be paying annual fees, from experience most clients have no idea how much these are. Please find out what you're currently paying. Also if you currently don't pay for financial advice you don't have a clear strategy or anyone in your corner to ensure lifetime financial success. We work with people who understand the saying 'penny wise, pound foolish'. 


AD HOC - ONE OFF PROJECTS

Occasionally there will be work that you need assistance with that is outside of our standard offering. If any projects are required we will inform you in writing of the proposed cost before any work is started. These projects will be substantially reduced for our ongoing clients.


HUMAN INSURANCE - (LIFE INSURANCE - CRITICAL ILLNESS - INCOME PROTECTION)

With life insurance and protection products we will be paid a commission by the insurance company for introducing the business to them, the amount will be disclosed in the suitability (Advice) letter we issue. Whole of Life Insurance plans will be dealt with as a ‘project’ and a project fee will be quoted.

TRANSFERS & LUMP SUM INVESTMENTS

Lump-Sum Investments and transfers: Should you instruct us to proceed with any of our recommendations we charge a 1% implementation fee. Your typical adviser would charge around 2.5%.

Fees if you invest monthly: If you invest on a monthly basis into ISAs, pensions or Unit Trusts there will be a 1% fee applied.

SETTING UP A NEW ISAS/JISAS/PENSION ACCOUNT

We reserve the right to charge a flat fee of £500 to set up each account, so if there’s one new ISA and one new pension the fee will be £1,000. Most clients choose to pay this via their first month's payment, this can be facilitated.

LONG TERM CARE ANNUITIES

We can assist you if you are receiving care in a care home. Our fee for this work is £695, to gather the required annuity quotations and prepare a financial plan for you. If a care annuity is set up we charge a fee of 3% of the purchase price.

SERVICES THAT WERE NOT ANTICIPATED OR COMPLEX PROJECT WORK

If you need a service that we did not anticipate we will carry out this work for a price we agree with you before we provide the service. We will send you a separate invoice for these services. You must pay the bill within the timescale we agree with you. If you require assistance with a project we will quote for this work on a project fee, no work will be carried out until this is agreed by you.
